Silly Will

This is how Will decided to get off the couch tonight.
I am a great mother, I got the camera and laughed at him before I helped him up.
He's just too cute not to laugh at.

Look Who's Walking!!

Sunday, January 8, 2012

It was a momentous day at the McCuen house...Will FINALLY walked!
I am so so proud of him! He has had the ability to walk for a few months now but not the confidence. Stephen and I had tried to coax Will into walking with bribes of brownies, suckers, and his very favorite thing...the phone. But he wasn't going for it.
Then, on Sunday, during Sunday School Will decided he wanted to walk across the room. I almost fell out of my seat!  Since then he's been a walking fool! He still holds his arms up like we're holding his hand which is super, super cute!
This is for my mom mostly but here's Will walking (and talking on the phone :).

Playing in the Snow

Yesterday we had our first snow of the year. I have decided to make friends with the snow, well sort of. Falling snow really is beautiful and our little family decided to bundle up and play in it.
*Excuse Will's runny nose, he's getting a molar and I can't seem to get his nose to stop running.
**Will's wearing the super cute hat his Auntie Christina made for him!

I will admit, we had a lot of fun, although I think I need to get Will some snow pants or a snow suit.

New Year's Fun!

December 27-January 2
After our fun in San Diego, we drove two hours north to Crestline, California to visit Stephen's sister, Christina. We had a great time relaxing and playing games with our nephews and  their parents. So much fun, in fact, I didn't take any pictures.

We spent much of our time playing this game...

If you've never played it, it's awesome! At first it may seem daunting but it is REALLY fun!
We also played....
Another awesome game!

We even played some of...

Will had a great time being adored and playing with his cousins. His Auntie Christina made him the CUTEST hat. I will take pictures and post them soon.
We spent New Year's Eve, what else, playing games and eating yummy food. We had some much fun playing games that we almost missed midnight.
The next day, Sunday we were able to go to church with Christina and her family. It was a great day and their ward is great. The best part was being able to be there when our nephew, Orson, was ordained a priest. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints young men receive the Aaronic Priesthood at age twelve and as they get older they get more responsibilities and when they turn 16 they are ordained Priests. To find out more go here.
I was such a nice break from reality but now school as begun anew and hectic insanity has descended upon our home once more. But that's OK, I thrive on Caos.
